Paratriathlon

Following the previous years, we are once again very much looking forward to welcoming the Paratriathletes to the ITU World Triathlon Kitzbuehel. The Paratriathletes will not only compete on the same course as the Age Groupers in the Krone Challenge but they will also start their race together.

Athletes competing in this Paratriathlon race will gain points for the ITU Paratriathlon rankings provided:

The athlete’s entry registration is done by his/her National Federation through the "ITU Online Entry System" and the LOC registration system
They accept all "ITU Competition and Classification Rules and Regulations"

Athletes must be internationally classified or submit the "Medical Diagnosis form for Temporary Classification".
Visually impaired athletes must submit the "Medical Diagnostics Visual Impairment Form" in advance.

Athletes who don't wish to compete under the ITU Competition Rules, are able to compete in an open division.
Due to the condition of the run course, athletes of the TRI1 category will not be able to partake in the event.
